Parking
Registration, plenaries, and meals are in the “Atwood Center,” a large building at middle-right on the St. Cloud State University campus map.

If you paid for parking as part of your registration, or if you would like to park using the lower conference rate, park at the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp on 6th Street across from the Miller Center library. Rates are $5/day on Friday and $2.50/day on Saturday, if you get the validation sticker from the MnWE conference registration table. If you did not purchase parking as part of your registration, you may pay for a sticker when arriving on site with cash (exact change) or through our website here.

There is also a pay lot with a kiosk next to the library which has a higher hourly rate. It is also possible to park for free on 6th Avenue South and 7th Avenue South, either north or south of 7th Street (unless there is a Snow Emergency, when street parking is forbidden). Pay attention to instructions in the street signage. To walk from 6th Avenue to Atwood Center along 7th Street is about .4 mile.

Directions
From I-94 from the northwest or southeast, you typically come in by taking the County 75 exit north, then Clearwater Rd. (Route 7), which is 9th Ave. At University Ave./10th St., move over to the right to 5th Avenue.

From I-94 and the Twin Cities to U.S. 10 (allowing you to come into the east side of St. Cloud, where the economy-choice lodging is), you would take the MN 24 exit north at Clearwater to Clear Lake, then northwest on US 10. When you reach the east side of St. Cloud, take MN 23 west across the Mississippi and then turn directly onto 5th Ave., heading south.

​The most efficient place to park is using the kiosk at the Miller Center pay lot on 6th St. The Miller Center is the library. The parking deck is right across the street from there, and also an easy option for parking all day. There also is a good amount of free off-campus street parking, but you have to watch the parking signs, and parking off campus might mean a walk of several blocks and a need to print the campus map or find it on your phone.
