MnWE Grant Program
MnWE offers a small number of grants to help defer the cost of presenting at the conference for some full-time graduate or undergraduate students and part-time faculty who otherwise would not be able to attend. MnWE can offer up to $250 for costs (basic conference fees plus part or all of travel and necessary lodging).

Eligibility Criteria: To receive a MnWE grant, you must:
  • Be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student or part-time faculty member
  • Be listed as a presenter on the conference proposal
  • Demonstrate financial need such that attendance would be difficult or impossible without support
  • Submit your conference proposal and grant application by Monday, February 17 at 11:59 pm CST] (late submissions will not be considered).
We will prioritize first-time presenters and applicants who have not recently presented at the conference.

To apply: The application form below will ask for your status (full-time undergraduate/graduate student or full- or part-time adjunct), how much you need/are requesting, the nature of your expected expenses, and your motivation for attending MnWE. The grant is paid as a refund after the conference to those who have presented, so please register ahead of time (or at the door) and pay the fee as normal.
