Avenues run N-S, Streets run E-W.
From I-94 from the northwest or southeast, you typically come in by taking the County 75 exit north, then Clearwater Rd. (Route 7), which is 9th Ave. At University Ave./10th St., move over to the right to 5th Avenue.
From I-94 and the Twin Cities to U.S. 10 (allowing you to come into the east side of St. Cloud, where the economy-choice lodging is), you would take the MN 24 exit north at Clearwater to Clear Lake, then northwest on US 10. When you reach the east side of St. Cloud, take MN 23 west across the Mississippi and then turn directly onto 5th Ave., heading south.
The most efficient place to park is using the kiosk at the Miller Center pay lot on 6th St. The Miller Center is the library.
The parking deck is right across the street from there, and also an easy option for parking all day. There also is a good amount of free off-campus street parking, but you have to watch the parking signs, and parking off campus might mean a walk of several blocks and a need to print the campus map or find it on your phone.
